How much does a deck cost in Nashville?
Most pressure-treated decks in the Nashville area run $12,000 to $35,000 depending on size, height off the ground, railings and stairs. Composite decks run roughly 1.5x to 2x of pressure-treated for the same footprint.
How much does a screened porch cost?
Most screened porches in the Nashville area run $35,000 to $80,000 depending on size, roof tie-in complexity, screening system, and finish. Adding a fireplace or outdoor kitchen pushes that higher.
How long will my project take?
Most decks run 2–4 weeks of build time. Screened porches with roof tie-ins run 6–10 weeks including permits and inspections.
Do I need a permit?
Yes. Decks attached to the house and any roofed structure require permits in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford and Sumner counties. We handle permitting and inspections.
Composite or pressure-treated?
Both work. Pressure-treated wood costs less up front but needs more maintenance. Composite costs more but holds up better in Tennessee humidity. We'll talk through tradeoffs based on how you'll use the deck.
